Due Diligence Questionnaire Templates

Those committed to the principles of the Due Diligence 2.0 Commitment (DD 2.0) are encouraged to consider accepting the due diligence questionnaire alternatives offered below as a “common form” questionnaire for BIPOC asset managers. Doing so enables BIPOC managers to save considerable time by completing the questionnaire only once and submit it to multiple asset allocators.

Due Diligence 2.0 Questionnaire Template

The questions in this document were submitted by seasoned allocators and reviewed by BIPOC asset managers to remove embedded bias and create a more inclusive, yet equally rigorous, means of evaluating asset management firms, investment products, and strategies.

The current version of this document is best suited for public markets asset managers, but it also can be a useful reference for allocators looking to update their own questionnaires to be more inclusive.

For asset managers that do not find the preceding questionnaire suitable for private products and strategies, ILPA offers a useful alternative.
